Default Project Pinkenstein tickles the 10's on motor

I am considering selling the car so that I can focus on one class car for next year. I have a number in my head, but wanted to see what you guys think. I enjoy the car, and if I did keep it I would probably change the converter for an ATI and try to get the car down to a 10.5 or better with the 346ci.

Mods:
346ci, forged 10:1 flattops
59cc Trickflow heads
Vengeance Racing Vindicator cam (24_, 24_, 112 lsa)
HS roller rockers
90mm OEM intake
90mm FAST TB
Hooker longtubes
3" shorty duals, Dynomax bullets
42" injectors
Dual intank pumps
!power steering
8" Fuddle converter
DRC TH400
Moser 9", 4.10's, 35 spline, spool
NX single nozzle wet kit
Dynotune single nozzle dry kit
Stenod 6pt bar
UMI LCA's, PHB
Spohn torque arm
Lakewood driveshaft loop
HP Tuners, have cable and 'ware
Race seat
Car weight is 3090 with 1/2 tank gas
QA1 drag shocks in front, CE's in rear for now, have some QA1's for the rear
VFN Sunoco hood
Bogart wheels
26" DOT's in front, 28x10.5 ET Drags rear
107K on the car, clean title
T-Top car
Radio, heater, a/c removed
!upper phb

11.02@121.63 | 1.55 (ran .3 better from July with no changes, just some seat time)

10.1@133 | 1.45 (best 150 wet time from July, probably could hit 9.75-9.85 right now)

Thoughts? I mean need a bigger turbo thingie.

Here are the motor passes from the weekend:

11.02@121.63 | 1.55 | 7.008 | 98.56
11.08@120.46 | 1.51 nighttime
11.08@120.77 | 1.53 nighttime
11.11@116.60 | 1.53, seat moved back lol
11.13@120.16 | 1.56
11.14@120.39 | 1.60
11.19@120.68 | 1.62

I had my attorney look into it, and I cannot legally raffle off the car under my tax status, sorry.

Why not race the car on Pinks?

good times...

I do beleive we only did a single intank pump setup though. The car with both kits could probably use a 2nd pump.

I am sure with both kits & good air it will rock.

There is a thread in the Drag Tech section that explains why the car was not raced on Pinks, it's the thread with 60,000 views.

Yup Larry's right, it's a single intank I forgot.

It sucks that you're selling it. Hopefully whoever buys it will keep racing it.

I think if I could find a deal on a 8" ATI converter I'd keep it for now.

Why not just buy a new 8" ATI converter? What are you looking to save, a couple hundred bucks? Doesn't make any sense. If you like the car keep it and get the converter you want. Just my 2 pennies.

FWIW, I have a 8" ATI Treemaster. It is an incredible converter.

I told you Fuddle was junk, but no one listened to me

Seriously though John, I would keep it and run NMCA Late Model EFI with John McP and I next year. It would be my pleasure to put you on the trailer month after month

I tried to talk to John at the race but he was too busy talking about himself to see me standing next to him.

WTF ... = Way too funny.

Sup Mike... Do you make 8" 5500 TH400 converters like the ATI?

I don't really want to sell the Camaro, it's a ton of fun. I'd like it to run 10.5 on motor and 9.whatever on spray.

Yes they are excellent converters, I run one myself.

If you wait until christmas time John ATI usually has a winter sale on them, like 170.00 off or something..
