I am just curious, how does an extreme head/cam package like this cartek 4x one perform for normal street duty with a stock 346 bottom end? Does it sacrifice a lot of bottomend grunt/torque in order to flow so good up top? Would this not be a good setup for more of a cruising car rather than a drag-oriented car?

Wow this thread came back from the dead...
CARTEK does build a hell of a car don't they? ol
Thanks for the props.
This was a track rental, so yes, 15 cars have the track to themselves from 9.30am to 4pm.
And, technicaly 10.32 is low 10's
They car does not have gobs of power down low, but it aint slacking. On the street I shift at no more then 3000rpm, so from 850 to 3000 is more then enough power to get to where im going and to get up to 80 on the highway in a VERY timely manner lol.
I don't know if this would be the best setup to cruise around in, but I do drive the car on the street quite often and have even had my Grandmother in the car a few times going to the supermarket lol.
The fun begins at 4500rpm when it feels like someone turns on the nitrous and all hell breaks loose.
And, technicaly, 10.32 is low 10's [high 10.99-10.66 mid 10.65 to 10.33 low10.32-10.00]
Car is 3300lbs with me in it, like was mentioned before, I am only 130lbs or so.
You can hear the rev limiter being hit on almost every run at the traps, rev limiter is set to 7200rpm.
Thanks for the props.
