Yeah I absolutely love this truck, and would love to have it. Maybe someday i'll be able to do a conversion project.

Very cool, says in his video... 3800 lb raceweight. I have an 00 sonoma 2.2l that is itching for my extra ls1. I was under the impression that these trucks were a little lighter than that, but still thats about an f-body weight, not too bad. What does the truck run off the spray? How streetable is the truck? Very cool!

Truck runs 11.6-11.7 @116ish on motor. Drivability is great, Most would consider it a small cam. Highway friendly for sure. Here is a Vid of the best N/A pass to date 3800DA

.

You did an excellent job at engineering that thing. How long did it take to put that monster in there.
How many changes did you make? You must destroy punks on the highway.

Thank you for the kind words, My intentions with the swap were to make it look as factory GM as I could. I am happy with the end result.

The original Swap began Nov 1,2005 and was completed and on the road April 1,2006 at the time the truck only had 36,000kms (roughly 20,000miles) on it. The original swap was a cam only 5.3L with the bottle and a stock 60E with a shift kit. It netted a best of 11.27@123mph on a 200Shot and the Numbers in my very outsdated sig. The 200 shot was a little much for the 3-4clutches in the 60E and it began to slip.

Over the winter months Nov 2006, to April 2007. I built a new Iron 370 Cube motor and went front to back on the 4L60E with the help of Chuck and Vince at FLT. Also installed the Currie Enterprised 9+ with nodular case.

Since April 1,2007 the Truck has made 185 quarter mile passes, 8000 Street Miles many of which happend on 4-5hour road trips to Various tracks in western Canada.

The truck will deffinatly surprise quite a few people, there is a small warning on the plate.

This picture was taken in route to a dragstrip 350Miles from home... The truck has never been on a trailer and I am hoping it stays that way.

What do u have locating the 9 inch? Damn I wouldn't think a truck with no weight in the back would be able to leave that hard....I bet its nasty from a roll on the juice.

Stock leaf springs, stock shocks and Comp Engeneering Slide-A-Links. Seems to work pretty well
