Wow a full .500 difference from best to not so best. Who whould have ever thought? And look the 60' really didn't change much either. That big engine couldn't pull 100 mph? What a smart man to keep the rpm's well below the stall. The only thing I can think of is. Did you heat those street tires in the water box, or did you drive around and dry hop a couple of times? Did you ruin anyones Test and Tune when you kicked their ***? ie A member of AARP racing a SUV..

I always wonderred why those things were so much faster than the TBSS.

nice! I have an '08 red jewel TBSS and we recently took it to the track. Full weight with spare/jack my g/f ran a 14.1@97mph and some change. Heat soak is horrid with it! It definitely didnt like to be hot lapped. I am sure had we took the spare/jack out and let it cool down for an hour or so a 13.90 was in it. the 60ft times were in the 2.0-2.1 range on the stock tires and psi was up. I am thinking of doing some long tubes and a pulley here soon....
