2008 World Street Challenge

Who is going to STL for the 1st World Street Challenge in May? I went to every World Ford Challenge, except the first one in BG, KY, there were multiple ones in STL & they were always fun. I am excited to see a mixed event!!!

Who is going & what are you taking?

I'll have my '99 SS there & hopefully be running it & helping with a few friend's cars.

If they would release some rules for Outlaw Drag Radial I could see how many cars to bring. We won the WFC last year.

Ohio Boys will be in the House!! Officially Challenging LMR and wormboy to bring that heap up north to race on radials @3400 without sissy bars..

Interesting. I am about 3.5 hours away from St. Louis. I would be willing to bring my car for sure if it fits in a class.

My guess is they will be close to what the World Ford Challenge rules. I think the main thing is they wanted to open it up to more cars. I at least thing the Outlaw Drag Radial will be the same. If it is we should make it up there this year again.

Site with rules and class info will be up after holidays!! They removed the drifting competition and added a LS,Hemi,mod motor race. Should be interesting

Not sure, but I haven't heard that only LSX GMs will be included.

There were plenty of classes for the Ford race, all engines were represented well.

Get in line sally. I already started the "talk" with those boys in orlando. Atleast i think i did, few beers that night

I booked rooms last week in Collinsville. I called a bunch of hotels & they are already seeing quite a few reservations. A few places I called only had "king" rooms left.
