I don't know if that is normal but my friend with a 02 ss he has been 12.70@110, He had something like a 1.9 60' maybe you just need some more seat time I know I do.

Well I do know my car doesnt hook for the life of it... Has a tremendous amount of wheel hop... I need a new torque arm (the stock one is not that healthy looking....Im sure once I get the thing to plant I will easily break 12's

You're wheel hopping because you're lowered. Put your car back to stock ride height and not only only will it not wheel hop but it will look better too!

No sir, the car use to plant just fine when lowered, I lowered it 2 months after I had it and its been fine for the past 2 years wheel hop just recently started and its related to worn on shocks in the rear and bushing in torque arm are worn and cracking...what can I say they are old.
Me personally I like it lowered.. Looks good in my opinion. First I have heard that doesnt care for it...

on top of that tires have alot to do with it... every since i put these type of tires on hop got worse..

Yeah my car is lowered and it hooks just fine, and never had wheel hop. Malcolm's vet is lowered and hooks just fine. By the way it looks better lowered.

my car trapped 114.01....i did however have LTs, Lid, Corsa, Ram HD, Ported TB, ASP Pulley but on the stock tune. spare tire and back seat removed.
