I think ARE has the fastest car. Goes 8.70's last time I heard. Colonels car should run that Raw Power from what I hear.

Many people run 10's on this board. And MANY run 11's like me. A few 9's. Rare 8's. No 7's.

A lot!!!
Probably not too much so long as you don't buy things brand new. A lot of weight reduction, and turning the LS1 into an air pump. Nitrous and you'll be there pretty quick.

 

All out quickest is ARE's car with an 8.7x at 165 MPH. That's some amazing MPH!

The quickest NA car currently belongs to the Douberley's BeaSSt car with a 9.75 at 138 MPH.

I'm hoping to push the NA record for a Gen III engine into the low 9s this season and eventually into the high 8s.

10s can be done with a few bolt-ons, plenty of traction, a good converter, and nitrous. That would be your cheapest route.

 

Solid H/C set up, good converter if your an auto, suspension and some gas should take you in to the 10s.

 

Some guys have been able to do it with just a H/C package (John Cambell, aka Raughammer for one). And according to the Drag List in the Drag Racing section, someone did it with just a cam.

 

its not an ls1 but i run 7.60's

 

I dont know about cars but Crazyidiot4.8 has the fastest truck . We now have a truck in the 10's though

 

who is the truck in the 10s?
