Default I know why my times sucked!

Well it took me a bit to realize this DOH! but when i bought the car i had to get it through inspection but the engine light was on and i was getting codes for my catalyst 02 sensors(threw my sims on from my old car to get her through and forgot about it). so needless to say my cats are clogging and im losing alot of power, which in turn makes total sense that my front 02 readings were between 8-900 mv's at idle and going as low as.045 under WOT and that would be because the cat is holding back so much backpressure its screwing with the readings. stay tuned for my new times once i get the dealer to replace them this week

What are these times that suck? You're making me scared to take mine to the track. I just bought my car 2 weeks ago, and it had the same code thrown (catalyst efficiancy below threshold bank 2). I cleared it, and it hasn't returned, but the car "sounds" like it's pinging under WOT. I planned on taking it to the track soon to see what it runs stock.

My car does the same thing... sounds like gravel being tossed around inside a plastic container... also throwing a code 'P0420' but it comes and goes...

Do I need to have a dealership look at the cats? How can I tell if they are clogged?

that code po420 is for the catalyst meaning either the sensor is going bad or the cat on that bank is starting to clog...

Lol, that's for sure the sound. The dealership should put stock ones under warranty.

I went 13.1 @ 108mph, 13.2 @ 107mph and the fiance ran 13.1 @ 106mph with the light on... it may not hurt you near as bad as you think? Mine doesn't feel sluggish though.... once I hear the rattling I can feel it ease up a bit but it's nothing drastic.

Update: Contacted dealership today... was WOT last night and when I let off all hell broke loose... sounded like the clutch grenaded but the car is still driving perfectly fine... looks like the cat is comming apart inside. Scheduled with dealership for cat diagnosis.... 10 years/120K on the bulletin.. looks like the cat is going to hell (or already went.).
