Default Question about Slicks

I am looking at getting 28.00 x 11.50-16 Mickey Thompson ET Street Tires MTT-3796(not radials)

Can they be run safely without tubes? I am running my factory wheels up front (17 x 9.5)...............

yes you can just watch that the rim doesn't spin in the tire you may need to screw them and also without tubes you will loose air pressure on a bias ply tire

Yes they can be run without tubes. As mentioned, watch them for spinning on the rim (a little at the beginning isn't uncommon as they seat in. I use dial in polish or tire chalk to mark them to watch movement). As far as loosing pressure, that's dependant on how they are soaped/mounted. Mine don't lose much pressure (maybe 1-2 pounds a week when they are on the car, less when off the car).
