Default 25.5 cage kits??

Does anyone make a jigged and notched 25.5 cage kit for a 93 Camaro?

I saw that Wolfe Racecraft makes one for a mustang but I could not find one for an f-body on their site.

best bet is maybe a jigged and notched 10point then add the other bars... or better to do it all from scratch.... once you start you'll find things to do better or different... makes you happier in the end.

Wolfe is supposed to have one coming out, I would give them a shout to see if they are ready.

25.5 and kit do not go well together. It is a complex process and needs to start with the floor bars. If you had a kit it would be expensive to install.

exatically if you move one bar out of place like the kit had it or if your car is not 100% straight of if one of the bars is bent.... or whatever the cause the rest of the bars will have a hard time fitting...

I'm doing a 25.5 conversion on my custom 10 pt right now, nobody will offer a 25.5 as a kit. Where you located, maybe we can point you to someone who knows what they are doing.

I am located in Portland OR. I already have a good chassis guy that I know of, but he charged $5k to do the 25.5 update on our Supra. i was hoping to be able to get a 25.5 kit for less than 3K and then have one of my guys install it at my shop.

Maybe I will just get a Wolfe 10 point kit and update when I am nearing the 8.5second range.

I appreciate your guys help!

Wolfe does have a kit. Not sure if it is out to the public yet, though. I can get one added to my 10pt for 3k installed. Chromoly is not cheap.

You can do a 25.5 to be legal(cheap) or a 25.5 that holds your car together.Mine was well past $5k but alot more bars to support the car.

MADMAN and crew is going to 25.2 my car and if I remember right he has posted that they start at 10k and go up from there and if I remember right the 25.5 starts at 8.

Some shops use parts from kits, like say the halo, door bars, ect for the custom cages but everything besides that is costom because very car is different.

My old car has a WOLFE 10 point and it fit good but not as good as a custom cage.
Id never consider buying a COMPLETE 25.X kit.

custom cage is the way to go. i want to say madmans 25.5 range from 8 to 10k depending on options and the boys at burkhart i think charge about 8k aswell. also i agree with fireball that cheap and 25.5 dont belong in the same sentance. its like the saying goes fast, cheap, reliable, choose 2 and the other one doesnt fit.

Yea, it's definitely not cheap but, it's like art work when it's done and you'll also feel safe knowing that you have a full cage structure around you should you crash at 150mph+
