Default added cam/stall, but same old times.

So when i had all basic bolt-ons i ran 12.9@105 with a 2.0 60ft.
I add a cam and and 3600 stall making 390rwhp and run 12.8@110mph with the same 2.0 60ft.

Why did i only run .1 faster??
I was expecting 12.5 or better since i ran the same 60ft as before but with more power.

weather and all that was about the same as before or even better. I know if i get some slicks i will get better 1/4 mile, but for now on street tires i get 2.0 60ft all day.

is it the stall??

The fact your 60 foot didn't change but your mph went up 5 should tell you there's more potential. If you can't use it from the start you'll not see the full gain from the mods. Sticky tires are the first thing to employ, and if the car doesn't have a good tune I'd add that next.

The mph should net low 12s with a 1.7 or better 60 foot times.

i guess its time for some sticky tires when race season is back. thanks for the replys.
I had the car tuned with a y pipe setup then added true duals. Not sure if adding true duals messed the tune up.

I also drop my street tires to 20 or 25 psi, hope that didnt make anything worse with my times.

Look at my time in sig. Thats what a sticky tire can do. I never tried running without the drag radials after installing stall.

I'm the same as smokinlt1, a stall with sticky tire dropped my et about 8 tenths...
