Is this going to be another wheel that won't fit 90% of the cars on this board?

i dont know pricing but im sure they are not cheap. alot of people that are going to spend good money on a hardcore light weight wheel like that probably have aftermarket brakes already anyways. although i could see alot of people wanting these wheels just from looks alone. they are bad ***!!!

Are there correct rear back spacings available for our cars as well? There is another company that is lacking in the correct back spacing.

I have 2 questions, @1 can you anodize them black, and #2, will there be a beadlock version of the rears available in a 15x12 size, say with a 4.5 backspacing?

(I'm narrowing the rear up probably 4 inches per side, and a 4.5 backspace 15x12 should be right, so I am told)

yes the 7.50 is planned.

Yes they can be anodized, and the beadlock is available on the 15x12" wheel. Also the backspacing is on the list of backspacing. I will know Exact sizing for all soon.

If pricing is right, bye bye welds and hello new rims. Any ideas on pricing yet?

you will need 5.5" backspacing to keep the rim i n the stock location. with4.5" backspacing the rim will stick out 1" further than stock.

what are the approximate weights? Sizes available? I would like to see a group deal on 15X3.5 and 15X10's with tires. I am sure you could sell quite a few sets that way.

probably comparable with magnums and alumastars...these are not your budget rims and seem to be aimed at the drag only guys.

he said they weigh less than magnum/alumastar 2.0's which I believe are the lightest drag rims out...they are about $1,000 a pop.

A stock width rear needs a 7.5 inch backspace wheel to keep the tire in stock location. If you narrow the rear 4 inches, that would mean you need a 3.5 inch backspacing to keep the outer edge at the same place with a rim the same width.

So, if I go ta rim that's 2 inches wider and I want all of the added rim on the inner portion, add 2 inches to the backspace, giving me a 5.5 inch backspace 15x12 rim. That makes sense, seems to anyway.

I have over an inch and a half from the control arm to the tire now, and with a different bushing made to sit in the control arm rod end, I should be able to shift the control arms inward another 3/4 of an inch or giving me about a 1/4 inch of space from the tire... just a matter of minitubbing the rear to clear the tires, if needed.

I want to flatten the contact patch out, and go to a beadlock so the sidewall gets worked more evenly in an attempt to get the car to hook harder.

You can use this website to play around with tire and wheel sizes with backspacing/offset. You just need to know your stock tire and wheel info and then you input what you want to run and it will show you how far in or out the are from stock and how much more they fill out the wheelwell if a larger size.
