what color is your cage??
what color is your cage?? Getting my cage put in my car and getting it back raw, wondering on what color do paint it. Prob. black but was thinking gray. Anyone got some crazy colored cages in ure car, like red, blue etc? Lets see um....

I painted mine a graphite grey metallic. It is Dupli Color auto touch-up spray paint and it looks great!
I would advise against spending too much money and doing a fancy paint job though since the cage is going to have the crap beat out of it and will require constant touch-up.

what im doing on mine is using standox epoxy primer under the rattle can paint to give it more durability. normally iwould use a spray gun but being theres so many bars(25.5) theres just no way i want to deal with overspray issures and im more worried about hitting things with the cup.

If you hit it with the seat belts, it will not chip, but if you are working in the car and are banging things off the bars, it will begin to scratch. Overall it is much tougher than the Krylon we used on my Malibu.
Figure on once a year having to paint the door bar from general wear, but at $5/can, it sure beats having to use a gun!

Mine is black. I have seen a couple cars with tan or grey interiors and color matched cages and I think they looked pretty nice. I had a Regal with a maroon interior and rollbar and it looked like crap. I always thought it would be funny to airbrush woodgrain on a bar to **** with the tech inspectors.
i have used the vht rollbar paint quite a few times and it is pretty durable. best bet though is por 15. you brush it on so you dont have to worry about overspray, it lays nice and smooth, and is durable as f**k! as for color, you cant go wrong with black but a dark charcoal metallic color would look good with a black car too.
