the motor with a 1000cfm carb went 6.02 at 2900#, but with a 5.57 gear.
it should run in the 6.0 range for sure if the raceweight is down there somewhere.
setup looks KILLER dave.

Did you get that intake manifold out of the for sale section? I saw something oddly similar to that on here a while ago for a great price. What version of that shifter do you have? Do you have any pictures of it installed?

i bought it from beck new. i dont have any on me but i can take a picture if you would like. it is for a reverse manual valvebody. but you shift it forward because the cable comes out of the rear. it is for a 3 spd with 2 neutrals. i have a precision performance products shifter also still brand new in the box that i will sell it is for a 3spd reverse manual valvebody but it is for a normal transmission with only 1 neutral. it is black still brand new in the box.

There was one for a carb / LS7 that looked exactly the same. The guy was selling it for $700.

What I'm trying to figure out about those shifters is what are the differences between the models they have? They have the power shift 1, kwik shift 1, and kwik shift 2. From what I can tell is that the power shift is set up for an air shifter. The other two I can't really tell a difference between them other than the kwik shift 2 is $110 less than the first version. Some pictures would be nice. The only one I've seen so far is from ChevyGoldfinger:

The car looks great! How much did the radiator and water pump cost you? And how do you like the RacePak? I am getting one for my car soon..

What was the reason that you decided to go with the front mount distributor? How do you like it?
