Ive been to both. went to norwalk for a club event yesterday got some new bests, Anyone going to the COFBA.org event at norwalk on 10-17?

I race at both track during the year. I was actually at 42 Tuesday Sept 23. Ran my new best that night. 12.19 @ 113.30
I will probably be racing more at the end of this year. Or atleast until I break something.

Ray, I actually ran slower at norwalk. THe last time i wa there all i could muster was a 12.50 @ 114. Maybee the track was too sticky there who knows.

that's a first josh! you know the first time anyone has said a track was so sticky it actually slowed me down!! lol!! norwalk is by far the best track in ohio. dragway 42 is flat out a hole in the wall facility that is just convienant for all the locals. it would be nice if someone would put some money into that place.

p.s. is anyone from ohio planning on going to SLP day in englishtown, nj on oct.11th? if so maybe we can all meet up and convoy out there.

my girlfriend races her dragster there. its a black undercover chassis dragster. her dad also races a dragster. on the side of there trailer it says j&j performance (the paintball barrel company). i make it up there a few times a year.

Mansfield motor speedway is going to build a drag strip next year. there in the process of finalizing the land deal. It will be built in 04 and open in 05. They say it will equal Norwalk That should take some of the load off Norwalk and national trails.

I hit norwalk alot. I have not been to 42 this year. Too much dust there for me plus I can't hook up to well there. Once I get my tranny fixed I might make it to 42 for a few more runs before the end of the year.

Again if I get my tranny fixed in time I'll make it to COFBA track day.
