Default Need your opinions on my times....

Well, we ventured to Bowling Green for the gathering and ran 7 times at Beech Bend. Wanted your opinions. My car's computer has not been touched yet and the mods are in sig.

I ran two 12.99's at 111mph and 112mph. My slowest trap was 110 out of the 7 runs. The 12.99's were my best times. Most were 13.0's at 110 and 111 mph. Now I am pushing some weight in the vert. Also added subframes which added more. Also I had a 1/4 tank of gas. Tuning will help, because I had to shift early to keep of the stock rev limiter. My first run was a 13.2 but I bumped the limiter in 1st, 2nd and I think 3rd. Definitly slows the times down.

I have dynoed in Atlanta at dyno lab. Varied from 386-390. So what do you guys think? My 60's were bad. I am still on the stock F1's. No tricks at all. My 60's averaged 2.2's. Does the 112 trap sound right for that type of dyno run? My 1/8 times ranged from the low 8.50's to a few low 8.60's.

Just wanted your opinions.

112 mph is good. You need some better tires and you will see improvment in your 60ft times. I think that some good computer tuning would help also. Nice dyno #'s. With your HP you should be running in the high 7's to very low 8's in the 1/8 mile.

Good luck.

I would say that with 380-390 rwhp your mph should be higher. They maybe low because you tapping the rev. limiter. Get some tuning and it should all work out.

Thanks guys for all your comments. I have learned from this board that you take dynos as you take em. They only give a number as where the track gives you a real number to go off of.

I am installing 3.73's this winter, tuning (which I now I need), gmmg exhaust and a portd throttle body. And also a new set of tires. Mine hane seen their better days.

Its just hard to see cars run better with the same mods or less, but I must remind myself, at least i'm fast for most heavy a** verts.

I would think you should be in the 114-115mph range considerin your have a cam and some valvetrain work. There are a few freaks out there running 110mph bone stock. Guys run 107mph bone stock left and right. I don't think 5mph over stock is that great for everything you have done.

I bet a good tune would help you out tremendously. Good luck!
