Motor Plate - why?

The csr shield I have on my th400 makes it a real pita. Can be done, but I can promise you it's not fun.

Makes me want to chop the floor and make a big removable tunnel piece, haven't done it yet, but that doesn't mean I'm not thinking about it.

Take a totalled car, cut the tunner area out of it, then cut my floor out a little smaller and bolt the slightly bigger one on, or cut mine and put some sort of lip on the floor that it can sit in and be attached with dzus fastners or the like, like what's done on a car with a lenco for clutch servicing.

Drop out the 2 midplate bolts, pull or loosen the 4 motor plate bolts and the trans and motor will pivot on the front plates. All 6 of these bolts can be done in less time than 1 motor mount bolt.

Life is easier.

I pull everyting together. I have put them in seperate and it is still easy.
