2010 Camaro "White" package
The application is fairly mundane. You have to agree that the car is not able to be liscensed, insured, able to be put back on the street, has no warranty of any kind, ect, ect.... If you are willing to pay the $$$$$ and sign the papers you can get one.
These cars are sold due to some minor defect, Crap weld, seam, e-coat, or what ever. GM can sell them to racers for $7000 instead of scrap them. Makes sense to me.
As long as GM makes these cars, there will be Body in White Car’s to buy.
My good friend Mark has a 1997 Mustang Cobra that Ford gave him to race. It came with a very cool letter saying that he can never sell it, but should have it crushed if he is done with it! (You would die if you new how many test cars, etc. get crushed every year).
http://www.mopar.com/performance/package/index.html. I heard awhile back that GM was going to offer a Car like Mopar did and Ford also.Maybe the white package is GMs deal. Have a friend down the street from us that Ford years ago gave him a body for his SS class car at Milan mich.
