If you like corners at all don't do it. I take mine off just for the track, it can be kinda scary in some situations.

My experience with my swaybar off was one close call going 80 mph, locking up the breaks, having the car float all over the highway, spinning out, then smashing into a concrete wall. Oh and without bumper supports there either, your car doesnt stand a chance. The insurance company dicks you over as well.

I personally didnt even notice the difference, untill I needed the stability in an emergency, and it wasnt there. Now I will take off the swaybar only at the track.

Horrible it worked out that way bro. But I have had a car pull out on the highway with me well doin XXX and i had to slam on the breaks and felt like i had control the whole time. Didnt have to steer much but i did notice the nose dive more.

Same here i pulled it and barely noticed it. i did it on my old t-bird, because i refused to buy new end links that car defently needed one.

Sam you got any goodys for sale besides the TC.

Driftunit, i removed the plastic inside wheel well that was 5lbs.
And all the plastic under the front bumper it was worth maybe 10 or so pounds. plus all those damn screws and pushpins.

I dont want to remove the crash bars just yet i couldnt live with myself if i got t-boned and it hurt my passenger.

i want my car at a glance to look stock so some things i want to keep.

Does anyone know how much the HVAC box and head unit weigh?

You can def tell there is a different with the front bar out, dont let ANYONE tell you otherwise, it is just that people got used to it being out. I am one of those people.

Supposedly MightMouse put a Rear Drag Bar by TRZ that stiffens the car up so much it makes driveability more like stock since it isnt letting the car roll at all.

sway bar removal on the street is big difference. doing 30 and yanking the wheel left to right is fun. so much body roll the car goes straight and the body just humps the road left to right.
but i also when from 18" with lopros to 16" with slicks so sidewall had allittle to make it worse too.

i think ill just leave my bar in because i love the curves. PLUS! i live in the mountains of north carolina and i dont think we have a straight road here lol.

and as for the plastic stuff you removed, i always heard that the pieces that connect to the front bumper have a lot to do with aerodynamics and help air flow that goes under the car. so at high speed you could be hurting yourself more than helping

Well i dont drive my car like a nascar so i never really felt it to much, i drive my car on the street like a grandma.

Maybe when i remove enough weight from the front it will be even worse.

Yours are heavier than mine were, both of mine were MAYBE 7 lbs, including the bolts. Almost more trouble than it was worth.

I've never had any problems w/ the sway bar being gone, u notice a difference the 1st corner, after that it feels normal.
