Thats a huge weight difference since the full set I have with the rubber backing was over 40lbs out of the box. I guess I'll order the shorter version, cant beat losing 20lbs for 140.00..
I was confused on this so I called. They said the full length carpet was 16 lbs. Can anyone else confirm this?

Its possible, but I talked to ACC directly (the people who make the carpet) and they said they will not sell the full length F-body without the rubber backing any more but the convertible carpet (the shorter one) they do.

Maybe speedinc is getting it from another carpet company now or ACC started selling it again w/o the rubber backing.

I was thinking about using truck bed liner (Line-X, Rhino-Lining) on the inside of my camaro. I hate seeing wrinkles in my carpet and dont want to glue it down...

A thin layer would be light and easy to clean...

I bought the stockinteriors.com carpet and it definitely weighs more than 13 lbs. I'm thinking I should have went with SpeedInc instead.

SpeedInc carpet is less than 13lbs. The box weights 13lbs and I still cut a LOT of carpet off to fit it in.
