Stock A4 02 SS at the Track
Stock A4 02 SS at the Track I am going to the track and The car is almost Bone Stock. 02 SS 35th A4 with newer Falkens on it. It has a SLP LID,,Smooth Bellows,,, Diablo predator and that is it and that aint much so how should i launch the car at the track ? leave it in Drive or put it in low and manually shift it at redline. What will be the best way to not blow the tires off at the start and get the best ET. Taking it to the track to see what she will run before the mods. there will be a GT500 and a SRT8 challenger there with me and i am trying to tear them up cuz the Mulestang is a stick on stock tires and i don't think he can drive it,,, and the Challenger is very nice but the darn thing weighs about 4200 lbs with 425 horses. I am trying to keep the bowtie out in front of these 2 cars,,,,,, Challenger cost $46,500 and the shelby is 500 horse and cost a fortune too. What do yall think ....give me some tips.

Just leave it in Drive (D). Go around the water and do a quick spin of the tires to clean the crap off of them. Brake stall it to about 1300 and roll into it on the last yellow. If you do everything right you should run a low 13. You might be pretty close to the srt8 but the gt500 should be high 12's.
