what camaro396 said...dzus fasteners. I got the racecraft rails as well, and they are VERY nice pieces!

I added 2 more fasteners along the windshield by the cowl, and going to add 2 more on the tail portion of the hood by the mirrors. 1 due to the shape not being quite right, and 2 so they don't flap against the car at high speeds (hood is extremely thin!)

I saw that, but I cut my cowl out all the way back to the glass, so I was concerned how their bracket would fit.

true... now do u have to shave the lip on the sides of the hood with the brackets? or will it fit fine with the lip?

I havn't tried mine yet. But I see one guy trimmed the bracket to make the lip of the hood fit. Thats probably what I'll do, because the hood is already pretty flimsy, I can't imagine it after that lip is trimmed off.

Shouldn't be too hard to trim it straight. But then again I'm a master with a cut off wheel, angle grinder, and dremel!

We'll see, perhaps I'll just trim the lip of the hood. I'm not sure yet.
