9.00 @ 159.5

Just heard from Chris Sikora(Z9s) 1st pass out today he saw a 9.0 @ 159.5. He said the car spun 100 feet out. That is the fastest LT1 4th gen pass out there as of now.

Real nice doesn't even begin to describe Chris's car! He has the absolute cleanest race car I've seen. It looks as much showcar as racecar.

He ran at Byron Dragway near Rockford, Illinois on Sunday.

This was with the cogs.

Thanks Guys ! Needless to say I'm thrilled to death.
Some more info on the car and the day,
1st pass 9.006 @159.64 1.397 60ft
2nd pass added 1 degree of timing and softened the front shocks
trying to get some 60 ft time .
Still spun 1.372 60ft.and banged the rev limiter on the 1-2 shift ran 9.159 @154.23.
We only had one more shot at an 8 so we upped the boost .
car again spun 1.399 60ft.and hit the rev limiter again!ran 9.090 @154.95
No 8 today DAMN!
After reading the data log we found that the trans was slipping on the 1-2 shift so that is why we were on the limiter (7700rpm)
So tonight I drain the trans fluid and it is burnt so time for a freshening and hope to get back out soon.
And the cars race weight is 3410 so really not a lightweight but still lighter than G.B
