Question ???more weight removal questions

today i decided to pull even more wires. pulled the wiring for the door locks, power side mirrors and extra speaker and antenna wiring

i removed the green harness (door lock harness) frm the IBCM

will i trigger the VATS (security) system by removing the green harness frm the IBCM?
basically im worried that removing the green plug will cause the VATS to not let me start the car

also i had another ques:

can i remove the hatch popper wires and actuator and still be able to open the hatch with the key?
dont know if just using the key will allow me to open the hatch with nothing electrical going to the hatch latch

will removing the wiring to the hatch popper keep the interior lights on?

you can still adjust mirrors even without power... so no reason not to toss it..

also, if you use the key to unlock the doors you could remove that wiring for the locks too..

only think i would like to keep is the windows..

Are you just pushing on it or rigging up some wires to power it and adjusting it? I'm thinking of the wiring because I cut all the wires for my mirrors out of the harness.

+1.. just do it by hand... its easy, and nobody else drives my car.. so unless i accidentally move them while washing my car, they stay in the same spot..

if you weight the wires switches and windows the power is heaver than you think. Brady pulled all the wires for the doores then just run a new wire to each door for the window have to play with swich with ohm meter to get it wired . only bad thing you have to be on the passenger side to roll it down. may want to look into it i just changed mine to manual door panals has been my hard part not many manuals at junk yards

I pushed on the one in my 95 and it rattles all the time now. It's made me a little careful of pushing on it. I'll just be careful when I go to move the ones on my 93.
