Will a Mickey Thompson drag radial produce a better 60' than a bfg drag radial

I did a 1.7 60ft on bfg drag radials. And it never hooked from a dig on the street. I haven't ran my car at the track wth my MT's yet, but the car dead hooks on the street with them after a nice burnout. I definitely think my 60ft will be lower with the MT's.

MT's worked better for me.Went from a 1.86 to 1.76 60" on new MT's. BFG's I had on had about 40%wear on them.

There is no comparison. M/T is the better of the 2 for as hooking at the track. I can say i have never seen an outlaw drag radial on anything but M/T . I hear Goodyears are going to bad to the bone

MT Drag radials **** on every other DR out there.....

Nittos' BFG doesn't matter...... they pale in comparison to the MT....

hell they were talking about putting guys on BFG's that run outlaw drag radial to slow them down...

Outlaw Drag Radial was first started with BFG's, they ten went to MT DR's if that tells you anything.

My MT ET Streets hooked on the street with cold tires at night, did not pull an air either.

I've never tried a set of 15' Bfgs but on 17's and 18's i like the bfgs better. I've had about every Drag Radial ever made and i like the Bfg's better on the 17s and for 18s.
But i like my 15' mickeys. Take in mind the 17's and 18 inch bfgs are two different tires also.

I agree,

Just look at anyone who runs fast on radials and that are cars in the 7's and 8's or even 9's I see a hell of alot more M/T's then BFG's

looks to be like Mickey T's for the win. We have a selection of these in stock, and can get some of the sizes we don't have here at the shop. Call for pricing. 225-673-3533

BFG's are plenty of tire for your setup. They stick on 4.5-5K launches in my 6-speed at the track. 1.7 60's on stock suspension. That said, M/T are the stickier of the two, but on your setup, either tire should produce the same time.

M/T helps me out with tires, however back when MT wasn't in the game I ran the little 235/60/15 BFG drag radials on my street racing car and I was able to get low 1.5 high 1.40 sixty foots and go into the nines with them. I made alot of cash with them on.
