Default drag setup

i've read threads etc.etc. and i wanna know whats the best shocks, springs(if stock will be fine) etc? and rest of suspension... i took out the rear isolators and will be putting a 9" in.. but what setup would be good like .. (on a budget).. i plan on a wolfe single sway bar, tubular k member tunnel mount torque arm, adjustable torque arm, adjustable pan hard bar adjustable lca's and boxed subframe connectors... would lca relocators help me? as far as ride height it will be stock except for the 3/4 drop from removing the isolators... but will never see street only track and its a 95 z28... thanks for any help

if you honestly want to spend the money afco coilovers are the way to go.... if you wanna save a bit go with qa1 or strange coilovers. whats your budget goal so we can try to help you keep in there?

Your choice of what to use depends on what the car will see for classes, power, track prep, etc etc. I've seen car with minimal upgrades in the single digits, but on the opposite side I've seen 12 second cars with all the suspension and drivetrains beef-ups.

What are your plans?

i plan to run in footbrake class at the local 1/8th tracks, as far as track prep 2 out of 3 tracks i mainly go to has real good prep the other one is good but not as good as the other 2.. as far as power i am either going to my 355 which is around 700hp give or take a few or 400 sbc am i am going to say its around the hp rating of the little 355sbc to 850hp(in that ball park that is) through a powerglide with a 28" or 29" slick.

relocators would help some.... definately a good set of double adjustable coilovers would do you right though.
