Back in the day a car with a Formula hatch if you swapped between would be faster due to Aerodynamics. Put some speed glass in the formula hatch and watch out!

A formula hatch with speedglass is about 45 lbs lighter then a transam hatch with factory glass FYI.

The 45 lbs, and another mph with no added pwer should be close to a tenth. Not alot, but a gain none the less, and one that can be made with very little cost.

ET/mph difference isn't worth it to me. I hate the formula hatch/bumper. It's obviously subjective though.

I am not sure of the difference but if you have a shock go out you will find out that both are heavy!!

Of course the other main advantage to the Formula hatch is being able to see better if you have roll bar!

I kinda of like the Fromula nose!
