Default Tip, Lightweight Battery on the cheap

After reading a dlove from last year I went out and bought a ETX16 dry cell from advance auto. Price was $70 and it comes with a 1 year replacement, 2 year prorated warranty. Installed it and car fired right up with ease.

It has the same specs as a PC680 but about half the price and the option of a local pickup/replacement.

Glad I could help.

This battery works perfect AS LONG AS YOU DONT LET IT DIE. If you kill the battery even once, It will be dead. It kills a cell and wont hold a charge.

You kill the battery if you leave something on like the radio, fans, etc.

The threads are metric threads. I just use some extra coil pack bolts with a few washers to space the cable cover away so it doesnt bind up next to the battery. It makes since once you bolt it up.

15-20 pounds. Depends on what battery you have in there now.

Are you running this battery in the stock location or is it in the rear?

With this small of a battery I would suggest it up front.

Dlove, do you think this would work in the trunk? I have all my stuff bought to put it in the rear.
