Default Curios about a supercharged GT?

Theres a 2002 mustang GT and has heads & cam pkg, headers, xpipe, and a supercharger, his gonna be running it next weekend @ our tracks, and my co-workers wanted to bet me lunch that I cant beat this stang. Was wondering what kindah e.t's this Gt gonna be running. Mods below. also ordered tr linelock for this race so i can heat them dragradials longer, last races i was hitting 12.80's @ 114 mph with sucky 2.2 sixties cause couldnt heat up tires right. This guy also has gears but dunno the ratio.

3 months ago there was another 2001 gt, supercharged internally stock running 13.4's with drag radials.Any inputs would be great. thanks

With a good driver a safely tuned 02 GT with a stock motor will do low 11's. With heads and cam also it will be faster.Does the car have forged internals? Dropped compression?

I disagree with ScreaminSS01 I think the GT, with a good driver willb e able to hit low 12's, those things run mid high 14s stock so i think you will have a chance. You could always get a bottle and bust his *** tho.

Lol.....I disagree with both of you. A stock GT will run pretty much dead even with a stock LT1. You can count on low 14's to high 13's stock. A safely tuned blown GT with gears and exhaust, with stock heads and cam, will run low 12's to high 11's. Add in heads and cam, which this guy must have spent a ton on, because they're not all that popular for the OHC motors, he should be in the mid 11's with tires.

To be blunt, you honestly don't stand a chance against him, unless you throw the hose on your car!

Wassup guys, Raced the blue oval this past weekend, we lined up twice. This gt had the kenne belle(dunno if I spelled it right) super charger, heads, cam, 3:90 gears, predator tunning, pro 5.0 with roush handle and he was running methanol or something for his sc, And he also had the same tires as me bfg dr's Thought this guy was gonnna blow me away. Nices sounding mustang Ive ever heard.

First run
Stang z28
R/T .694 1.094
60ft 2.0 2.2
1/4 12.98 12.91
mph 109 113
winner

Second run
Stang z28
R/T 1.004 .583
60ft 1.9 2.0
1/4 12.84 12.71
mph 108 111
I was hella happy, Also won my lunch from my co-worker. I was talking to the owner and he said they was running the car all day in test and tune and best they could do was 13.5's all day and he said that was his first time running in the 12's when we lined up so he was pretty happy wit his times. Hope I get ls1 edit b4 the next drags so i can run a little faster. Sorry so long and thanks for reading.

Being a Camaro guy, I've always taken close notice on what Mustangs will run. The best I've seen a GT run
was a 14.5 at @ 97mph. I'm assuming he had a lid or something since he took out his RH headlamp. So,
take off 1.0 in the 1/4 for the SC (they don't put out as much as an f-body) and you'd be looking at @ a mid
13. Maybe take off .5 - .75 off for the heads/cam and the headers and he would be running high 12's. I bet
he can't come close to a 12.5 if he ran at the track. Just my opinion. I could be wrong though.

Track elevation and driver have a lot to do with it. A friend of mine had (he sold the car) a 01 GT with bolt-ons and a vortech and ran 12.2's all day long. This guy weighs a good 250+ too. I can't remember his mph but without a decent driver a fast car ain't necessarily so fast...

Congrats on the win no less.
