ya that is very true. also everytime the brake pads on a drag race brake kit need replaced, would u still be able to buy the pads at an auto parts store or have to order the pads thru strange???

You would if you're lucky enough to live 2 miles from Jegs like me, but otherwise I'm pretty sure you would have to go through a speed shop. Although, if the truth were known, my wilwood pads are probably OEM on some import.

Strange, Wilwood, Hawk brake, etc. there's a few out there that have pads for that style of caliper. Most of the mail-order places carry them, but i don't think you will find them at a regular parts store in stock.

even on the rear? i was under the impression it took some work to convert the rear to coilover.....
