I've been searching all morning and am still looking for a more definite answer. I just bought a pair of Greg Weld 15x3.5 fronts and summit stars 15x8 for the rear. I am going with the M/T 275/60/15 drag radial for the rears but am undecided on the fronts.

I have heard you shouldn't mix radial and bias-ply tires but I would feel safer running these

than running a cheap 165 radial.
I also don't want to pay the $$$ for the M/T S/R either.

Does anybody run this setup? Any other suggestions?

I ran the 8ply version of that tire with 325MT radials and it was very stable.

 

How about on the street? Any issues there?

I heard about them here, but I think they are sold out now.

 

You will burn up the bias-ply tires much faster driving them on the street. I've heard that a lot of guys only get 2000 miles out of them and whatnot. You will also save a significant amount of weight running a bias-ply versus a radial up front. I ran Kumho 165/85r/15's for 2 years and recently switched to a MOROSO bias ply. The Kumho's are exactly 10lbs heavier apiece which is all unsprung weight, which is freakin huge. 20lbs off of the nose for about $225-$240 is well worth it to me.

 

I agree...the weight issue kind of turned me away from the kumhos. What are you running on the back, radials or bias-ply?

As for the back I would run bias ply, especially with you ever spray the car.
