anticipating on locker or true trac. my car will be a street alot. soo. how much power are you guys running through a true trac. and my setup is a moser 9"

Default locker diff.

SUM-730931. has anyone ever ran that setup. its summits version of the locker. i didnt know if i could save the 100 and put toward other ****. but any advice on that.

Do yourself a favor, either run a regular eaton, and if that's gonna be a weak point at your power level which I would think it would be..... just put a strait spool in the car and spend the $ you saved on better wheel studs.

Detroit tru-trackers are really nice and can handle a bunch of power and are very quiet in comparison to the super noisy locker.

Tru Tracs break, I have 2 that if anyone wants to buy, they are for a Moser 12 bolt, only broken once lol.

I have one in right know thats poppin like a **** on right hand turns. leaving it in until is explodes then Im going with a spool and different gears.

Do your self a favor and put in a spool. I had a detroit for 3 years and finally switched to a spool. The popping and jerking of a detroit sucks. I got to where I would just apply throttle in turns to keep it locked up, and then it might as well be a spool. Save some money and get a spool.

the true trac has worked fine in my car. pushing a little over 600 to the tires. its an automatic car. (4l60e)

I say just save the money and get a spool like said before.

Little harder on tires, but its not gonna break.

my trutac survived many 7K rpm clutch drops making 540rwhp last year on drag radials...ill see how well it holds up this year making over 800 and leaving on the transbrake..lol
