I DON'T WANNA HEAR IT!

Our first big local fbody track event since last spring, and we set it up for Mid October because that is when it's supposed to cool down into the upper 80's.

Forecast high is 103.

The never ending summer continues

damnnnnnnnn.. i thought 75degrees or so was bad LMAO

I like the 60-65 temps best since its not to cold on car parts and traction is pretty good

103 temps are insane for racing!!!!!

I'll tell you what, we're at 1300-1500 ft elevation depending on which track we're at.

I raced 2 months ago in late August, and the density altitude was 5800ft, with temps at 108 when I got there, only dropping to 103 by 11pm. It was humid also because it was monsoon season.

At 5PM when racing starts tomorrow, the density altitude will be 4550ft. At 8pm it'll be 3800ft, and at 11pm right before they shut down, it'll be a racing perfect 3400ft.

The DA in Colorado reaches 3400 once every 100 years! I'm envious.

At least you expect to have shitty DA's year round. We aren't supposed to have DAs this bad right now

you definately have one of the worst year DA's year round, but that's cause you live a mile from outerspace!

Your DA sucks more than anyones, but that's mostly elevation related.

I just hate wearing a helmet/pants/fireproof jacket when its over 100 degrees

I think its weather this unusally hot in what is supposed to be the middle of fall that's pissing me off.

I hear ya, but the good news is that the fastest times over the next six months will be at tracks like Phoenix, Vegas, Pomona, Houston, Gainesville, Montgomery, etc. I am going to try to make the most of the cool season, if I can get my cog setup working.
