Default Broke My Rear, But New Best

Our F-body club had our track day yesterday up at Norwalk. That track hooks like a ***** and I found out the hard way. My cam'd, most bolt on, stock headed Formula WS6 made 3 passes before I broke the rear in the burnout box right before my 4th run. Loud bang, then metal on metal. Pushed the car out of the way and watched the rest of the day and ran the staging lanes.

Good news, is that just prior to that attempted run, I ran a new best of 12.080 @ 115.92. So close to 11's. I'm very confident I would have hit it over the next few passes or so, had I not broke. Oh well, time for a 12 bolt or 9 inch next year and 4.10 gears. Still not too bad for a car that only makes 383/383 and still has its stock heads...
