Gussets and whatnot are fine... and if you wanted to try to street drive it you need that I think to stop it from bending/breaking.
On a race car, the worse you have to worry about really is maybe some bumps on the return road, small pothole in the pits where you've going 5 mph... or coming down from a big wheelstand which has the potential if it doesn't go right to mangle everything regardless.
This is race car stuff built for a race car no doubt. Beautiful quality, and strait to the point, light and effective.
Exactly what the market actually needs IMO.

Sounds good. Steve sent me a PM, I replied back. I figure probably about July I'll be ready to order the whole thing, so I'm not in a big rush.
About how much do you think the whole thing will weigh, with the spindles and 3rd gen brakes compared to a stock k member, rack, upper and lower a arms, and stock spindles with the aerospace hub brakes already in them?
Trying to get an idea what I've got for weight reduction from the whole thing. I've got a formula hatch that's 15 lbs lighter then the stock transam one, speedglass rear window, front window (one of the 3 that sonic snake ordered from you guys) coming, and the 5 inch cowl vfn hood on the way too. I wanted to get a total of about 450 lbs out of the car... I know I have a ways to go, just trying to get an idea.
Also, if you happen to have any pictures of how you had the headlight covers mounted on Brady's car with the motor's and all that gone, that would be very helpful

On another note, I should have pricing for everything tomorrow. I'll be posting a price for the kit here on tech.

Awesome build guys. Are you gonna give us a hint on what kind of power plant it's getting? Personally, I'd love to see a 500ci LSX with 3 or 4 kits on it. You guys have the resources to get it done and done right.... Team up with Steve Johnson or Monte Smith and bust the 7's WIDE open! Just my wet dream LOL
Looking at this thread REALLY makes me want to go out into the garage and tear my car apart! I have to reach my goal with the car as it sits first though. This winter the sparks will fly!

Just wondering if this build had the cage/chassis certified yet?
Not a bad looking build overall guys. 25.2 is def a lot harder to do on a former street car than on a pro car. Shoot me a PM if you guys want some carbon parts to replace some of that steel. We do carbon wheel tubs, floor pans, trans tunnels ect... I can get you a good deal from our in-house carbon shop.

The car hasnt been certified yet. As we have done 4-5 25.2 builds I am confident it will pass. We are in a holding pattern due to the customers financial issues.
