Air Bags vs Sway Bar
Why is everyone so hell bent on retaining their rear sway bar? There is zero adjustability with a sway bar. With air bags you can adjust from side to side, stiffen it up, loosen it up, etc. So what is there to loose by pulling the rear sway bar off and installing a set of air bags in the springs?

Or sway bar...works both ways. That is kind of what I am getting at. I see people wanting to drop $500 hogs for a sway bar that looks like it came off a D11 dozer. Why?

Because it's the correct way to set up a drag suspension? I am NOT the kind of guy to typically do this, but you might want to hit the search function on this before insulting the people who have "probably" gone much faster than you with these waste of money drag bars....

No... I love input as long as it is based on facts and data, not just someones opinion based on what they read in a magazine or message board. So, what was gained with the bmr bar? That is what I am trying to understand. What problems did the bar eliminate that nothing else could address?

A bag is a solid fix. One problem is that it adds another variable to the chassis tune which has to be checked/serviced every run. I have a stock rear sway bar with a bag and my car launches straight and has been as low as a 1.31 in the 60'. If I had my choice I would get a drag bar and be done with it, but I make the best with what I have. One time I forgot to put air in the bag, was in the left lane. Shortly after launch, I was in the right lane
