I have seen huge MPH gains with better shifting... you can be surprised how much a slow shift will cause you to loose MPH.

You may think you are shifting quickly, but I assure you, with 116mph and 416HP, you are not. I trapped 122 with 396HP and 3450lbs race weight, on slicks.

I would tell you to get a decent tire, a M/T DR I would say. Get a shift light, set it to 200RPM above your HP peak, and keep practicing. Your MPH will go up with practice.

you said right there. Your 60' is better than mine. Plain and simple..

and better shifting will show about a 2 to 3 mph diff

your trap speed should be close to the same what ever 60' you have, with in reason. I have seen on my car a better trap with my best 60' but it was only 2 mph. I just got a shift light and i think that will help the most. I was always short shifting before.
