If you didn't purchase wheels yet, I can build you a set of our Bogart wheels which would require no grinding for oem brake/caliper/rotor LS1 or LT1 configurations.

Mike just take a little off at a time you shouldn't need to do that much with the LT1 brakes ......all you need is enough to have the wheel spin freely

Thanks Tom!! Thats what I needed to know. As long as it spins free is what I was looking for. So no real gap is needed?
I have one almost done but it got too late to be grinding in the garage last night.

I'd say a 1/8th would be great, at least a 1/16 if you can

I dont think I can get an 1/8, but 1/16 should be doable. I cant wait to get out of work and get back to work on the car!

1/8th is probably not gonna be possible I agree, but it's nice to dream

1/16th should be enough so heat expansion and movement of stuff when the brakes are working to not have any problems.

Bigger problem will be how to tell how much space there is, it either rubs or it doesn't

Ok I finished one side up last night. I did alot of grinding but the caliper still looks very strong and I highly doubt it will break.
The rim tire combo looks awesome and the fitment is perfect, the tires match the body lines and almost looks like they were made to fit a Firebird!!!! Tons of clearance all around and they centered great with Non Adj LCAs and my S60
rims are Greg Welds all around with 15x8 w5.5bs 27x10.5 QTPs and fronts are 15x3.75 w1.75bs with 26x4.5 ET fronts.
Ill get pics when I finish getting on the other rear rim
