A good run all starts with your launch.
Burn out in second gear, be sure to keep spinning as you are pulling forword and dont stop in the spot you are burning out in. Nittos take a little longer to heat up but you should feel them grab. Im not an auto guy so I may be wrong but id launch at 3500 or so with the auto, maybe someone with experience launching a stock stalled auto can give better advice.
With your mods on a good day with a good DA you shouldnt have a problem hitting a 13.5 as long as your elevation isnt really high.

Remove it and put the stock tune back on. Seriously. Thats the first thing I did to mine when I bought the car in 03'.

I feel that those hypertech thingys make our cars slower. They are too generic, the only tune you should be using is the stock one, or a custom tune for YOUR car. My car had one when I purchased it and I removed it immediately. Run the car a couple of times in a row with it. Let the car cool off, then run it with the stock tune a few times. Either it will make no difference, or the car will be faster with the stock tune back in it. This is all just my opinion, please do not take offense.

Most canned tunes meaning a base tune for every car from year X to year X usually, but not always makes you loose performance. The stock is tune in these cars runs pretty strong and GM has spent lots of money getting it right. The canned tune that comes with most handhelds doesn't do much for performance however they do serve a purpose for other adjustments such as odometer correction, timing, diagnostic trouble shooting etc.. As far as the bet goes, Jersey at 76 degrees with your mods you are going under 13.50. If you want to try the canned tune, do so since you have all day but either way I would make some back to back passes with the canned tune verses the stock tune and see if there is a difference with your car. Post up some results and good luck!

2.4 was your best? Either your car is seriously fucked up, or you need to get out there and get some practice.
I still want to know your mph. I think that would let us know if something is wrong with your car. With an auto you don't really have to account for driver error once you get going.
If your mph is somewhere in the ballpark of what you should be getting then you just need to practice. If its really low your car is having some problems.
