Default Launching without twisting

What are the right and proven rear suspension parts used to keep the car launching straight and not twist out of the hole?

Most fast cars I have seen does the standard Sub Frame Connectors, then a 6 pt or more roll cage, all welded.

Then I see them go to Adj shocks, some go single or double and Madman has some special valving you can check out. For an out of the box shock AFCO seems to get the nod.

Then going to the rear, some people go for a solid rear sway which attached a rod end to the frame and keeps the rear rock solid. Some others still do the drag bags and I have seem them do fairly well.

Aside from cutting the weight down for proper xfer would think its a good recipe for keeping the car straight.

Also putting on a good tire is a must. Pick your poison.

Edit: This doesnt include guys doing 25.2 spec chassis or anything like that, just regular cars that most people with $$$ and basic know how. Getting it to work with a given power level will be a whole other beast.

The main thing that will keep the car from "twisting" is a rear anti-sway bar. We sell BMR's and Wolfe's. Like Blackscreaminmachine said, you'll also need to get a good set of sub-frame connectors, and a roll bar would help. If you are interested in purchasing any of these products, please call me at the shop. We can talk about the benefits of installing these parts and pricing. My phone number is 225-673-3533.

Feel free to check this out....

My car twists and mushes to the right. It still had stock shocks, stock rear sway, no SCF's or cage and I vow not to race it until I get all those peices, the vid shows the car picking both up but the right side staying lower (twist)

ANti roll bar or drag sway bar, sfc, and good shocks are the place to start. THe factory sway bar will allow a lot of twist.

My '98 Formula had a Spohn drag bar, sfc's, Burkhardt rod/rod LCA's and PHB, and drag shocks. 1.35's and left dead even.

My '00 Camaro had a BMR drag bar, CE 3 position shocks, and left dead even, 1.38's. I think this is your or your cousin in this shot actually LOL:

Rear drag bar helped me the most, took about 99% of the flex out.

Thank you all for your advise and recommendations. I do have a set of subframe connectors already installed on the car. CE 3 way shocks set at (XF) on stock springs cut 1 coil, running on MT 325/50's. Since I'm still running the stock 10 bolt, I will look into a much thicker sway bar, something like the Spohn 1" sway bar that bolts right into the stock location. The drag bar that they offer, I think requires an after market rear end.

The BMR drag bar gives you a little more room to adjust the rear drag shocks so I think I'd reccomend them a bit more. But I was very happy with the Spohn in the Formula that car left straight too. I miss the Camaro a lot so I plan to build another one got a car in mind right now actually.
