Be a man!!! Stick with the stick!!!
I had a 97 M6, then a stalled 00 A4. I hated the a4 on the street. Only thing it was good for is 60fts, and 0 fun after that. It was so depressing it made me love my LTx even more. Its the worst feeling in the world to get wacked by a slow car becuase your **** didnt down shift fast enough.
Now Im back in a M6 and couldnt be happier untill the car is completely off the streets. Then Ill consider going back to auto.
Plus its cooler to go fast in an M6 because your the one driving not the trans.
Its also rather depressing hitting the curves in a auto vs M6.
I do agree if you plan on a strip only car auto is better, but thats where it ends for me.

Yes it is.How come it lifted and all those parts came flying out the back.Rob if you need a 4l60 core ,i have 1 in my crawl space. For you ill let it go cheap.I know you drive it on the street a lot so, have FLT build you one when your ready.Big stall, the 3.89 gears you have in there now, and it will run like Chris car.

If your not afraid to spend the money to do it, then get a th350 and then put a gear vendors unit on it.

That was the rubber from the track. It was 95 degrees and the track temp was 150ish. Not sure why he lifted that run but went on to win Mod PA at the LTx shootout. Saw it in person. His car has gone 9.09 i beleive and is the 2nd fastest m6

Bad *** for sure... Front end rises nice and stready and keeps tires loaded all through first gear. Thats what you have to figure out with a stick car, can't pop the tires up and down quick cause it will unload the rear.

I still havent figured it out yet but I'm working on it.

Keep the stick, my car gets more attention being a stick car than anything else.
