Default WOT Conveter lock-up?

I'm having issues getting my TC to lock up in 3rd. I am running a high stall and need to get it locked for the top end to keep me off the rev limiter. I am trying to lock it at 105-110 mph but for some reason I can not get it done with EFI Live. Any suggestions would be great. Right now I have the "apply" settings at "105" and the "release" settings at "255". FYI it's a FLT-5 and a circle D triple disk.

Any help would be great.

Thanks

I don't think you can do it in the program. Mine locks up when I'm at part throttle using the PCM. At wide open throttle you will have to make a hard wire circuit. I used a MSD window switch so i can program at what rpm the converter locks and unlocks. I have a switch that i turn on before I stage this turns on the window switch. At the set rpm it locks up in 3rd. You'll have to find the tc lock up circiut diagram and find the wire going to the pcm. I can't remember if you ground this wire or apply voltage to it. I think you ground this wire. I ' ve had this set up for year works great. On the window switch just set it to lock at a hihger rpm in 3rd then what you shift at on the 1-2 and 2-3 gear change. This should drop you about 500rpm when locked and gain you some mph but not much et gain.

make the release setting 0 in the area that you want it to stay locked. It doesnt recognize 0 and it stays locked. I have done this for years with HPTuners and it works great.
