Default Gains with gears?

What kind of improvements can I expect to see in my ET switching from 3.23s to either a 3.73 or 3.90?

Car isnt stock, its got a mild cam, lifters, a bit of head & intake work done.

It would really take more info to get a correct estimate. What transmission? What size tires in the rear? What do you shift the car at RPM wise? IMO 3.23 to 3.73 is probably not going to be a huge diff. You might be better off with 4.10s depending on tire size, RPM and transmission.

4L60E, Im not sure on shift points yet, still new to drag racing. Im running some 255/50R16 BFG drag radials at the moment, not slicks.

And the car IS street driven in the summer. If I go to 4.10s Im worried about it being useless on the highway

I'd probably just go with 4.10s I think you will be fine on the expressway with 4.10s. The 4l60e transmissions have a pretty decent sized overdrive.

Since it's an auto, you would see far greater gains by putting a quality converter in the car first.

Holy crap, thats a lot of different options!

I bought the car, and was told it had a B&M 2800 stall in it. Doesnt seem like it though. I've got a 3200 to go in.

Anyone with 4.10s in their daily? The TA gets me to and from work during the summer months.

My Formula is the only car I have. I just took out the 3200 stall for the 4400. If you dont cruise the highway a lot 4.10s would be good.

Cool, good to know. How do you find the 4400 driveablity wise?

B&M 2800? I hope your next converter is a quality one or don't waste the time and money. 3.73s are plenty, but 4.10s aren't that bad on the highway.

I didnt buy the last converter, it came in the car.

I'll likely just have one built in town, my ex-boyfriend's family owns Island Torque Converter and said they could probably do something up fairly cheap.
