They appear to be a paper style gasket. Here's the picture Summit has:

Looks nice! What does your nitrous setup consist of? I'm going that route pretty soon but i think im going to run a Zex or NX parimeter style plate along with noid brackets and route it like you have it.

Nitrous setup is a Direct port on a 200 shot from Harris Speed Works, and a Wilson Pro Flow Single stage plate jetted for 100 for now.

The Pro-Flow plate isn't as expensive as people would think, and is one of the best plates on the market.

Wilson plate is a good plate. However IMO, diffuser speedtech plate is where it's at.

LOL If I had my choice I would go with the SpeedTech, but I'm kind of budget minded. For the price and performance, the Pro Flow was the right plate for me.

On top of that, those Speedtech plates are so good, no one wants to sell them

I'm good with what I have for now. I have a feeling I'm gonna change plates eventually though.

I hear ya.

I'm at the point, that one of 2 setups are going to replace the current one. Either this motor is getting redone to take boost and an F1R, or an F2 is going in it, or I'm going to put a 440 together with a set of wcch allpro heads, cary's intake and just a simple plate is going on it in an attempt at 8.50 (little faster on a good day, I want to be able to go run 8.50 class at races like shakedown, etc.)

First step: 400 lbs out of the car. Once that is done, everything else is up in the air.

I really want to do that too. Run at the Shakedown and Orlando. I don't know why I'm still messing with this stock cube B.S. My chassis will flat out hook. It will be interesting to see how it does with a real motor

heh heh, mine used to do that too at a lower power level. Took a good bit of work to get it back to that with the pickup the nitrous gave it.

Next level, it will for sure be the same process to get the car right. Build a big motor, and you will find out real quick.

Oh, I believe it. I've got a motor planned for when I get back down south. Then the whole setup changes. Sucks

Damn race car! I'm tryng to build my setup to catch up with ya'll and your already changing combinations It's tough making the incrowd!

BTW what are some of the specs on these allpro heads at WCCH? The first of the year im going to look at getting a new set of heads and the TrickFlow/TEA 225s are looking nice to me.

Something to think about with the elbow vs. 4 barrel setup on the Victor Jr. was a comparrison on duty cycle of the injectors between the two. A friend of ours has a 408ci setup with TFS 235s,250 dur. .62x cam, victor jr intake, accufab 4 barrel TB and all the other nice bolt ons to go along with it. Anyway with a intake elbows.com elbow on this setup duty cylce with the 42 lb. injectors was around 78% i think and after just swaping the elbow for 4 barrel and after tweaking the tune duty cyle went up almost 20%. That right their tells us that the swap was making alot more power.

Some people may not realize that your tuning software can tell you alot by paying attention to detail between the before and after tunes.

285 cc runners, flow over 400 cfm on intake and over 270 on the exhaust, both at about 700 lift if I remember correctly. 6800 bucks, but that's with titanium valves and the jesel shaft mount rockers ready to go. So, put all that in there and it's not that bad really

I am 99% sure you need a min of a 4.125 bore to run them, but I'll be on a 4.185 so it's a mute point. Actually, it's not, because I'm going to have the heads opened up to work with the 4.185 bore, and they'll probably flow even more

They'll be on top of a lsx block, if I stick with the nitrous route. Cary's single plane intake and a dominator flange TB on top. Unless I smarten up, put the distributor front cover on the motor, buy a digital 7 box and just put a dominator and a 2 stage speedtech plate on it. Which, at this point is starting to look like an option.

Yeah streetstalker is right with the sheetmetal elbow on my setup the IDC was actually closer to 70% and after we did the 4bbl swap with more tuning the IDC went to around 100% on some runs.. This was all done with SVO Green tops....
