hopefully ill be competition to that soon with my 60-e, then im goana stick a glide in it and see how fast it will really go

 

What kind of setup do you have? How fast has it been so far?

 

Maybe I can get close to that stock bottom end w/nitrous record if I can ever get my car to 60' with the stick. I'm going to hit it with 200 and try some ideas with the suspension tonight if the weather holds out.

 

Not as fast as Harlan but I went 8.92 @ 152 with a 347/procharger a couple years ago. Stock crank/block but better rods/pistons naturally. That was with an LS6 intake/stock TB also..

 

Yeah Kevin's 8.92 is the fastest stockish cube ET with a blower.

 

I plan to push my little 346 here shortly.

 

Well, I guess when I get home I'll have to see how mine does. Forged, stock cube with big hit.

 

I was thinking about this and had to look something up. I did and ltlhomer ran harlan's old twin kit on his 347 for a while. At 3393 lbs on 28 inch et streets he ran 8.781 @ 161.

Keith P. (Magnus) went 10.9's with boltons, and I think one or two folks bettered his ET.

 

how about a 6.18, stock internals on a 100 shot?

 

now that is flying for a bolt on car on such a small shot. puts my cam only car to shame.

i had a stock bottom end cam only car/60-e/9 inch with 200 pills and never got it to leave that great went 1.38 and 6.38 at 109...
now its got a built bottom end ported heads and a fast 90/90...same tranny and i just swapped out the gears from 3.9 to 3.50s

 

sorry, stock BOTTOM END. he has mildly ported ls6 heads and a vic jr with one of their poopy elbows, and a cam. s/d tune, no air filter/ lid. and the car is probably around 3000 lbs. the car runs hard. its actually in a convertable lt1 car. i think he's gonna bump the shot and go for the 5's, then build a 408.

Def a well built car, take the damn elbow off and itd prolly go quicker. We should be right around that number on a 200 hit once we get the new converter in it.

 

yea, 5's is HAULIN, thats around mid/low 9's no?
