Please help w/60fts!!!
other vids it looks to hook then unload when the front end come down...used to happen to me too after I went with the cam and was around 121mph, just hooks hard off the line and either twists and unloads one side or unloads when it comes down…too much body flex…I still have stock springs and shocks in the rear…adding the from qa1r didn’t help either when I was on the stock sway bar…
After adding the spohn rear drag bar, she leaves nice and straight and stays hooked…
I would get the drag bar, set the rear shocks to as close to stock as possible, fronts are always full loose on my car…
And brake stall the ss4000 as high as it will go before pushing it through the front brakes…kinda sneak up on it before you let off the brake too(hit the gas a split second before letting off the brake, takes practice but you will get the hang of it)
The only way I could get my car to hook and stay hooked with the stock sway bar and the power I am at now was to add my 75lb stereo equipment in the rear hatch…also had an air bag too with 35psi in the right rear…
How was the track prep on that day you went, I know with my mt drag radials it has to be pretty good or I will over power the track with the ss4000…obviously a slick would help this though…
Here is a vid when I was still on the stock sway bar, car was hooking awesome then unloading like 5ft out…
