I have not been following the car, please list some details....

I took off my front sway and you do notice a difference if your trying to power out or into a corner but its nothing crazy.

I'm not interested in cornering fast but for regular driving i don't notice much of a difference. I just use the car to drive to and from the track (30 miles each way) and race.

I would hook it back up for street driving, even if it's only to the track and back. Build some sort of quick disconnect for it so when you get to the track, you can unhook it. Would suck if someone pulled out in front of you and you couldn't manuver quick enough and got hit.

You've never driven without the swaybar have you?

You can tell it's not there but it's not like OMG I'm going to die! No problems avoiding crashes. The only problem I can see is still trying to take that on ramp at 90mph. I had mine off for 3 years.

An Fbody without swaybar still handles better than most SUV's.

A 100% accurate statement.

Heck, I feel safer and more at ease taking a corner with my T/A then my Wife's HHR.

Car usually hooks good but on a hot greasy track I started spinning..disconnecting the sway bar helped me hook on the same track. Try it, you can disconnect one end link (passenger side) and get the same results.

True or False:

If you run on the street with no sway bar, and ALL suspension on the car is 100% stock. Will it make the front tires wear unevenely?

On a stock suspension car it can get pretty hairy on quick lane shifts ect.
My car runs no front sway bar BUT I have a BMR extreme track bar in the back. The car does not lean at all on cornering,so it has done off ramps at 100mph like this. I'm not a cornering guy so I notice no difference having the front bar off.

I have mine off for a while now and don't even think about it anymore. I daily drive a
2wd Titan on windy back roads everyday and when I drive my car on those same roads I can corner extremely better than the dd. Total weight savings was 25 lbs off the nose with the BMR bar. Not a bad mod IMO.

Thanks Jay....

I've had my front sway bar off for years and I drive on the street with skinnies on top of that quite often, only suspansion I have is a drag launch kit and control arms, don't have any problems at all even at 75+ MPH highway turns.......probably not a good idea though.

Actually yes I have. But it was on a 2nd gen. Drove like crap. That was enough to tell me not to do it again. Never tried it on a 4th gen.

My 1st gen drag car doesn't have one, of course I only have to turn just a couple of times to get on and off the track. At least in drag racing you don't have to go around corners at WFO.

Bottom line is, if you don't go to the track or you have no traction issues, leave it in. I drove/raced with mine in for 8+ years until I started having traction issues, then I (Ande in Leola) took it out.
