Thanks for that info..

So i am guessing the 'painted' ones are the alloy ones?

all it has is this: 5 Spoke Firebird/Z28 16" (painted) . . . . . . . . 19.5

yeah same weight, chrome and paint are just different ways to coat the same wheel. if anything the paint should be heavier but only by a few grams.

Chrome always adds 1-2 lbs to the wheel. It is metal. Paint is light and cheap.

Neither. Go with a drag wheel if you're looking to gain the most from weight. There are many options out there, our Bogart drag wheels can be built to bolt right on your OEM brakes/calipers/rotors. You'll drop an easy two tenths in the quarter mile with the right combo.

I do not have the money for drag wheels.. I went with the aluminum (alloy) ones

I got my OEM 16x8 5 star ALLOY rims today.

Each rim weighs 18lbs 4oz....

Not to bad. They are a little curb rashed and beat up but they are for drag racing only...

i thought you frogot about me Evan. The last PM i got from you was going to take the pics later, been working non-stop and had no time to get them....

I never heard from you Ohh well. I would rather have chrome....

But the ones i got are a little beat up with some rash and pitted but like i said track use only...

And they are lighter than my TTMs... I think my TTMs alone are like 29lbs.. I will be saving 20lbs on jsut the rims alone

no, i took the pics... i wasnt worried about how much money i was making off of them.. i knew it would be less than what i told you i would sell them for and that was fine with me.
figured i would just try to help you out, they arent doing me any good!

if you do decide you want the chrome ones i will go check out shipping.. then ill just sell them a little bit over what it costs..
