I bought a digital angle finder today and spent the afternoon taking measurements.
Pinion angle is:
-1.0* Using the driveshaft angle to measure it
-2.4* Using the driveline angle to measure it
Then I measure the lower control arm angles....
DS = 4.7*
PS = 3.7*
This had me scratching my head.
Then I measured from the top of the tires to the bottom of the wheel arch.
DS = 3 5/8"
PS = 3"
So I pullled the drivers side spring - and then put it back in thinking it wasn't seated fully. Measured again - same results.
I then pulled the springs and swapped sides. Measured again - same results.
For grins I measured from the sway bar mounts to the floor (note - car is on 8" blocks all the way around).

This should confirm the floor is fairly level - I also measure from the floor to the beams in the ceiling that are level. The floor was less then 1/8" off on either side of the car.
I raised the passenger side until the gap in the wheel arch was the same as drivers side. The angles on the lower control arms were even @ 5.5* uphill to the car.
So either my body spring pockets are tweaked or my rearend is tweeked.
Now I need to find a way to lower the drivers side a half inch or raise the passenger side a half inch. I don't know if I can get away with the heater hose mod or not. I might need to chop the DS spring to get the ride height leveled. Maybe an air bag would be a simple fix.....
This would explain why the drivers side tire unloads or why the car goes right when it leaves.

Then I can play with the rest of the suspension.
Anyone have any input on the pinion angles I measured?
I'm thinking that I'll adjust it down one more degree so it'll be -2.0 using the driveshaft method and -3.4 using the driveline method.

Just watched the video,the car rocks over to pass side.(watch the Spoiler).Get the BMR drag bar and front shocks.The BMR fits a little better than the Spohn in the area of the control ***** if you plan on going with double adj rear shocks later on.I have the Spohn and Strange single adj rear shocks ,this also works out OK.

I was set on the Spohn bar - as I can bolt it in then weld it, and it's cheaper too. I'll have to reconsider.

I need to take the car for a ride and see how it does - and it's going the track on Wednesday, weather permitting.
The new shocks seem to have a lot more extension than the stockers.
Fingers crossed that it'll 60ft better and leave straight.

Traction issues resolved.
I had issues with the 2-step and had to disable it.
I was chasing my tail all night.
At 1st the car spun leave at 5500rpm of the 2 step. The car backfired on every shift.
Then I thought I changed the 2-step to 5300 - droped the tires to 12 psi and got to the line - the 2-step was @ 3300rpm Car backfired every shift.
Track decided lay down some serious prep.
I disabled the 2-step - left at 5000rpm bogged
Left at 5500 - bogged
Left at 6199 (factory limiter) bogged - 1.72 60'
Packed up and called it a night.
I needed to add some air to the tires - as it was dead hooking.
Overall not a bad night. Time to add more power
