Pictures of Jay Johnson's SS
I was extremely impressed by the look (and sound) of the car. Look for it to bust a 9.xx next time out.
Here's a few teasers.

I think Jay has a couple things on the list of things to do, but he was able to pull some weight out of it this weekend before I showed up at the shop.
I always though that you had to had the forward bars connect throught the dash, but I double checked the rules, it says you only need to connect the forward down bars if you have removed more than 1 square foot of firewall or body for transmission access etc.
I like the design of that roll cage, I am going to have to keep that in mind. I am installing a 10 point chromoly cage in a couple weeks.
Does anyone know if Jay Johnson got that car NHRA certified for 9's?
am on my way to getting personally licensed.
A rear-mounted battery will most likely give me no benefit
at all. I've looked at it from a number of perspectives on
my setup. That's not to say that others will not gain some
benefit from a rear-mounted battery.
The setup has put down a 10.08@135mph. First day on
the track for this 402ci motor.
Motor development will continue in it's positive path.
Keith Craft and I are looking forward to what's to come in
2004.
